The challenge
Two months ago, Sapphire Maids did not appear in the first three pages of Google for the searches families use to find an agency: “maid agency singapore”, “helper agency singapore” and “maid agency”. Page one was held by directories, listicles, a government directory and long-established agencies, so families comparing agencies on Google never saw them.
Our strategy
We started by mapping what the agencies and directories on page one were doing, and what they weren’t. Then we rewrote the homepage title and content around how employers actually search, built new service pages so each service had its own page to rank, improved the Google Business Profile, published blog articles answering the questions employers ask, and fixed the technical issues holding the site back.
Measurable impact
The results
Within two months Sapphire Maids reached the #1 organic result on Google Singapore for “maid agency singapore”. It also ranks #1 for “helper agency singapore” (about 480 searches a month), above the Ministry of Manpower’s own agency directory, and sits in the top three for “maid agency”. Two months earlier it was not in the first three pages for any of these searches.
