PULSE Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketing agency in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use pulsedigital.sg, contact us or work with us, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, company, website and message when you fill in our contact or enquiry form, or request a strategy call or AI visibility audit.
- Conversations: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone, email or in meetings, including the details of your business and marketing that you choose to share.
- Newsletter: your email address when you sign up for our newsletter.
- Clients: contact, billing and project details we need to provide our services, and access details to marketing accounts you choose to give us.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, time on site and the website or ad that referred you.
- Ad click identifiers and cookie IDs set by the analytics and advertising tools described in section 3.
We don’t ask for sensitive personal data such as NRIC numbers, health information or financial account details through this website. Please don’t send them to us.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and audits, and arrange calls or meetings.
- To provide, manage and bill for our services, and to keep our records.
- To send our newsletter and marketing updates when you’ve agreed to receive them.
- To understand how people use our website and measure how well our own advertising works, so we can improve both.
- To keep our website and forms secure and to prevent spam and fraud.
- To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations and to deal with disputes.
We collect, use and disclose personal data with your consent, or where the PDPA otherwise allows it, for example where it’s reasonably necessary to do what you’ve asked us to do.
3. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and the providers below use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on this website:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager | Loads our analytics and conversion tags. It doesn’t collect personal data itself. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Measures visits, pages viewed and how people move through the site, using cookies and an anonymous identifier. |
| Google Ads | Records when a visit from one of our Google ads leads to an enquiry, call or other action, so we can measure and improve our ads. |
| ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI) measurement pixel | Records visits and actions such as form submissions and WhatsApp or phone clicks after someone sees or clicks one of our ads in ChatGPT, so we can measure those ads. It can send hashed (scrambled) contact details from a form you submit, so OpenAI can match the action to an ad. OpenAI doesn’t share your ChatGPT conversations with us. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Checks that forms are filled in by people, not bots. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms apply. |
| Mailchimp | Stores newsletter sign-ups and sends our newsletter. |
| Google Maps and Trustindex | Show our office location and our Google reviews. Loading them lets these providers see your IP address and browser details. |
| Our WhatsApp button opens a chat with us. Messages you send are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. |
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well. You can also manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on, and turn off ad personalisation in your ChatGPT settings.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only where needed:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and newsletter tools, analytics and advertising platforms, and project, accounting and communication tools. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and lawyers.
- Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
- A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised, merged or sold, under the same protections as this policy.
5. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our providers, such as Google, OpenAI and Mailchimp, store or process data outside Singapore. When we transfer personal data overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it’s protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA, for example through the provider’s contractual commitments.
6. Data we handle for our clients
When we run campaigns, websites or reporting for a client, we may handle personal data that belongs to that client’s customers, such as leads from ad forms or customer lists for advertising audiences. In that case we act as a data intermediary: we process the data only on our client’s instructions and for their purposes, and the client’s own privacy policy applies. Please contact the business concerned about that data.
7. Marketing messages
We send our newsletter and marketing messages only to people who’ve agreed to receive them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can tell us to stop at any time. We don’t send marketing calls or messages to Singapore numbers registered on the Do Not Call Registry unless you’ve given us clear consent. We’ll still send you messages you need, such as replies to your enquiries and updates about work we’re doing for you.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. For example, we keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client, contract and billing records for up to five years after our work ends, in line with Singapore’s record-keeping rules. After that we delete or anonymise it.
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, use, loss or disclosure. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and limiting access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, but if a data breach happens that is likely to cause you significant harm, we’ll notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
10. Your rights and choices
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and how it’s been used or disclosed in the past year.
- Correction: ask us to correct personal data that’s wrong or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent: tell us to stop using your personal data for a purpose. We’ll explain what that means for you, for example that we may no longer be able to provide a service.
To make a request, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details below. We’ll need to verify who you are, and we aim to respond within 30 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests, and we’ll tell you the amount first. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Commission.
11. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, tools or the law change. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new “last updated” date.
